Bandon Dunes Golf Resort near Bandon Oregon hosts 2006 Curtis Cup

2006 Curtis Cup match the best women amateur golfers

The Pacific Dunes golf course at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort near Bandon, Oregon will be hosting the 2006 Curtis Cup golfing match. The 34th Curtis Cup Match is being held on July 29-30, 2006.

This year at the Curtis Cup Match the best women amateur golfers in the United States are golfing against other golfers from Great Britain and Ireland. Carol Semple Thompson will be the captain for the USA Team, and Ada O'Sullivan of Ireland, will be captain of the Great Britain and Ireland team. This is going to be a great match to watch. As near as I can tell the weather is just going to be remarkable.

If you plan to attend, you will need to act quickly to secure lodging in Bandon, Coos Bay, North Bend, Coquille, Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, or surrounding areas.
